Survival and Woodstravel Instructor program -Level 1-
Deze opleiding omvat 21 dagen in Canada en 12 dagen in Europa. De locatie
in Canada is indrukwekkend. De uitvalsbasis ligt bij Hinton, aan de voet
van de Rocky Mountains. We hebben toegang tot de Foothills, het Jasper
national park, het Switzer provincial park en het Wilmore wilderness park.
Schitterende gebieden met alle mogelijkheden.
Inhoud
van de opleiding:
De opleiding omvat trainingen van eigen vaardigheid en kennis op het gebied
van o.a. overlevingstechnieken, eerste hulp, navigeren, planten- en dierenwereld,
spoorzoeken en materialen. Voor de volledige inhoud; zie elders op deze

Duur
van de opleiding:
6 dagen Nederland.
6 dagen Frankrijk.
21 dagen Canada.
Toelatingseisen:
Deelnemers moeten over een goede lichamelijk en geestelijke conditie beschikken.
Deelnemers moeten de Engelse taal machtig zijn.

Wil men zich verder specialiseren? Dan is dit de vervolg opleiding.
Er zijn 4 specialisaties waarin men Level 3 kan afronden.

Mountaineering / Canyoning / Speleo
2-
Bushcraft, Survival, Flora, Fauna and Orienteering
Deze specialisatie bestaat o.a. uit minimaal 4 weken extra training in
Canada (waarvan minimaal 1 week onder winterse omstandigheden) en minimaal
6 weken groepen begeleiden in wildernisgebieden (waarvan minimaal 2 weken
in Canada).
3-
White water
Deze specialisatie bestaat o.a. uit minimaal 2 weken gerichte training
op WW 3 en hoger en minimaal 4 weken groepen begeleiden op WW 3 en hoger.
Deze specialisatie kan ook volledig in Europa gevolgd worden.
4-
Snow sports

Het

Canadian Survival- and Woodstravel Instructor Level 1 and Level 2.
For the testing, each segment will be tested at the completion of that
segment and then an overall exam will be conducted at the end of the program.
The exam will consist of both written assessments (very small component
of the exam) and a practical hands on skill testing assessment.
